Please have your library card available

Lego® Club @ the library here...

HOW TO GET A LIBRARY CARD:

You can apply in person or electronically submit your information via this form,
or print an application to fill in and return or mail to a branch.
The fastest way to get your card is to print the application form and bring it into
a branch with personal identification indicating your current mailing address.
The Electronic form takes longer to process as the card & application is mailed
to you, but aren't activated until you can visit a branch with identification.

If you are 12 years old or younger, you will need a parent or guardian to sign the
registration form and that adult will have to show identification with current
address on it. You must have your card with you to borrow library materials. If you
lose your library card, we will replace it for a fee of $2.

MEETING ROOM (back to top)
Two stairway chairlifts have been installed in the front foyer. These provide everyone with access to the meeting rooms and the Gates Learning Centre on the lower level of the Truro Branch. The chairlifts were made possible thanks to a grant from the Government of Nova Scotia through its Community ACCESS-ability Grant Program

The Community Room (950 square feet) is  available for rentals. For information and bookings, please telephone (902) 895-0235 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

GATES LEARNING CENTRE FOR ELECTRONIC INFORMATION
Equipped with 11 computers and a wide range of software, the Gates Learning Centre offers training sessions for non-profit community groups, Monday to Saturday, by appointment. Please click  here for more information, including the schedule.
