  3rd ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN: 2005 - 2006

	"Reaching for the Library's Future..."
			Thanks to all who made a donation during last year's campaign. The funds were used to purchase items for the library's popular audio-visual collection.
	Edith Patterson, Chair of the Colchester-East Hants Public Library Foundation, was able to present a cheque to Lloyd Matheson, Chair of the Library Board.

Dear Friend of the Library, 

The Colchester-East Hants Public Library Foundation, established in 2003, continues to seek support for our library.  Generous donations during the previous two campaigns have enabled the foundation to purchase two security systems to protect the collections from theft in Elmsdale and Truro and also to acquire additional books.

The 2005/06 campaign is focusing on the expansion of the library's popular audio-visual collection -- music and recorded books on CD and MP3, documentaries, how-to-do-it programs, children's entertainment and learning programs on DVD, and portable players.  To prolong the life of this collection, the foundation would like to provide a unit that cleans, buffs, and repairs most scratches on CDs and DVDs.

Your donation will help to broaden the library's offerings and to preserve them for the benefit and enjoyment of many.
