"Reaching for the Library's Future..."

The 2010-2011 Campaign is underway.

October 2010

Dear Friend of the Library,

The Colchester-East Hants Public Library Foundation is launching its 8th annual campaign. The Foundation’s main purpose is to raise funds to ensure that our library continues to play a vital role in the communities it serves. During the past seven years donations to the Foundation have been used to purchase non-print materials, security systems, a variety of books, and last year, flat screen monitors for branch programs.

With rising costs and increasing demands the Colchester-East Hants Public Library needs our support more than ever. Funds received in this campaign will be used to purchase large print books to expand one of the most heavily used sections of the library.

You may also at any time make a donation in memory or in honour of someone special. An acknowledgement card will be sent to the family or honouree. Major donations and bequests can be designated for the Foundation’s Endowment Fund which is intended for major projects.

On behalf of the Foundation, thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Edith M. Patterson, Chair
Colchester-East Hants
Public Library Foundation

P. S. Watch for the foundation label on materials purchased with your donations.
