Information
Services
There are professionally-trained staff
on duty during all of the hours the Library is open. They are happy
to answer your questions in person, by phone or e-mail.
If you are looking for information
from home, office or school, you can check our Virtual
Reference Desk.
Getting items that
are checked out or not owned:
Phone or e-mail
to reserve items that the Library owns but are currently checked
out. You can also place a hold on the item yourself by searching
our catalogue and requesting the item that is needed.
If the Library does not own the item
you are looking for, you can request that we purchase the item, or
you may borrow the item from another library.
Borrowing items from libraries outside the Colchester-East Hants
Public Library system:
If the material you want is not
available at our library, it can usually be borrowed from another
library for your use. The catalogues of academic (Novanet), regional
public (NcompasS), and Halifax Regional Municipality libraries can
be viewed at all our branches or by searching the desired
library from our home page. |
