The Comfort Tree session is an interactive, storytelling, art-making event with author and illustrator Holly Carr. Holly will read her new book the Comfort Tree, discuss ways we can comfort ourselves, and facilitate a collaborative art experience resulting in the group’s own comfort tree. This program will discuss sustainable efforts in the kitchen and with food storage, focusing on reusable packaging. During this program, the participants will be guided through making their own beeswax food storage wraps, and will take their freshly made wraps home with them.
