Pyrography simply means writing with fire. It is a captivating process that combines drawing, writing, and pattern-making, using heat to mark the surface. Inspired by nature and the wildlife around us, each piece in this exhibit captures elements of the natural world through line, texture, and controlled temperature. The Annual General Meeting for the Colchester-East Hants Public Library Foundation will be held on June 24, 2026, beginning at 6:30pm. This meeting is open to members of the public, and will be held at the Truro Library in the Maker Lab.
Workers from the Truro Housing Outreach Society will be at the library to offer housing and outreach support services for folks experiencing homelessness and/or housing insecurity.
