Community Volunteer Income Tax Program: Appointments
Beginning Mon, Feb 9, volunteers will be taking appointments for income tax preparation on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, in person or by phone. This will continue until the end of the tax season or until all slots are full. Call 902-896-4192 for appointments or drop by the library.
Tech Help by Appointment
Bring your own device or use one of our computers. This program covers: eReaders/ebooks, basic computer navigation, basic app use, basic cellphone use, basic tablet use, general internet instruction, research and using library electronic resources. For the Love of Painting
Sean Benton paints in an expressive realist style. His images replicate realism with an emphasis on the elements of art and design. Sean hopes viewers experience familiarity depicted in new ways. The works currently on display vary in subject matter with portraits, landscape, architecture, and still life. All ages. Drop-in. In-person, 2nd Floor Exhibit Area.
Free Income Tax Clinic
File your taxes to get your benefits and credits. If you have a modest income and simple tax situation, volunteers may be able to do your taxes.
Earth Day Seed Planting
“Our Power, Our Planet” is this year’s theme for Earth Day. Help us celebrate Earth Day at the library by planting some seeds to take home for your garden. All ages are welcome.
