For the Love of Painting

Workers from the Truro Housing Outreach Society will be at the library to offer housing and outreach support services for folks experiencing homelessness and/or housing insecurity. This can include access to survival supplies, client case management and care plans, assistance with rental and subsidy applications, sending paperwork to agencies, and interfacing with landlords. Join artist and educator Kim Cain for a special art workshop, Africville's Legacy. Pair watercolour and acrylic painting with collage, and learn about the community of Africville, its history, and destruction while making a 3-dimensional pop-up of Africville.
