For the Love of Painting
Sean Benton paints in an expressive realist style. His images replicate realism with an emphasis on the elements of art and design. Sean hopes viewers experience familiarity depicted in new ways. The Canadian Red Cross is experienced in helping people deal with the consequences of extreme weather events, natural disasters and unexpected emergency situations. Workers from the Truro Housing Outreach Society will be at the library to offer housing and outreach support services for folks experiencing homelessness and/or housing insecurity. This can include access to survival supplies, client case management and care plans, assistance with rental and subsidy applications, sending paperwork to agencies, and interfacing with landlords.
